Our approach
Turkey has become one of the world’s leading destinations for medical travel, and for good reason — its leading clinics combine genuine expertise with prices far below the UK, Europe and North America. But standards vary, and the industry has more than its share of high-volume “mills” that treat patients as a daily quota. We built Clinic Elia to be the opposite of that.
Two principles run through everything we do. The first is assessment before treatment: a proper evaluation of what is realistic for you comes before any plan or price. The second is restraint over volume — the goal is a natural, lasting result, which usually means doing what suits you rather than what fills a schedule.
What “surgeon-led” means
It means a qualified surgeon is responsible for your care and accountable for your result — not technicians working unsupervised. In a field where the person actually performing your procedure is often hidden, we think you deserve to know who is treating you and what they are qualified to do. Where you are treated, and by whom
Two questions matter more than any marketing: who operates on you, and where. We answer both plainly.
Surgery is carried out at Acıbadem, an accredited private hospital in Istanbul — a full hospital with intensive-care backup, not an office procedure room. Plastic and reconstructive surgery is led by Op. Dr. Ali Çetinkaya, a specialist in aesthetic, plastic and reconstructive surgery (ISAPS, TPRECD). Hair transplantation is carried out by an experienced team under the supervision of a qualified physician, and medical aesthetics by qualified practitioners after assessment. Honest assessment — including when to say no
The most important thing a good clinic can tell you is sometimes “not yet”, or “not this”. A hair transplant into unstable loss wastes grafts you cannot spare; an aesthetic procedure done for the wrong reasons rarely satisfies. We would rather lose a booking than take on a case that is not right — and we will tell you honestly when a different treatment, or none at all, is the better path.
