Medical Aesthetics in Turkey

Medical aesthetics at Clinic Elia

Medical aesthetics covers the non-surgical treatments that refresh the skin and soften the signs of ageing without an operation or a long recovery. Used well, they are a way to look rested and like yourself — not to look different. Used badly, they are the reason “work” is so easy to spot.

The difference, as with surgery, is medical judgement. Several of these treatments are medical procedures, some involve prescription medicines, and all of them carry real considerations. That is why, at Clinic Elia, medical aesthetics is delivered by qualified practitioners after a proper assessment — never sold from a menu, and never rushed.

This page explains the main categories so you can understand your options. It is information, not a sales pitch: which treatment suits you, or whether one suits you at all, is a decision for an in-person consultation.

Each treatment below is delivered by a qualified practitioner after a face-to-face assessment. Explore any for an honest overview.

Injectable treatments

Injectables are the most requested non-surgical treatments, and also the most misunderstood.

Anti-wrinkle injections relax specific muscles to soften expression lines such as frown lines and crow’s feet. These use a prescription-only medicine, which in the UK and EU cannot lawfully be promoted to the public — so we describe here only what the treatment is, not offers or claims. It is prescribed and administered by a qualified practitioner after a face-to-face assessment, and results are temporary, lasting a few months.

Dermal fillers restore volume and definition — to the cheeks, lips, jawline, chin or under-eye area — using gels based on hyaluronic acid, a substance the body produces naturally. The right filler in the right plane looks like your own tissue; the wrong approach looks obvious. Assessment and restraint matter more than product.

Because these are medical treatments, an honest practitioner will sometimes tell you that you do not need them, or that a different approach suits your face better.

Skin and regenerative treatments

  • PRP (platelet-rich plasma) uses a small sample of your own blood, processed to concentrate growth factors, then reintroduced to the skin or scalp to support quality and, in some cases, hair.
  • Mesotherapy delivers tailored micro-doses of vitamins and hydrating ingredients into the skin to improve tone and hydration.
  • Skin boosters and Profhilo hydrate and improve skin quality from within rather than adding volume.
  • Exosome therapy is a newer regenerative approach used to support skin and scalp recovery.

Resurfacing and energy-based treatments

  • Morpheus8 combines microneedling with radiofrequency to tighten and remodel the skin.
  • Fractional CO2 laser resurfaces the skin to improve texture, fine lines and some scarring, with a recovery period that depends on the depth of treatment.
  • Scar treatment combines several of the above depending on the scar type.

Facials and maintenance

HydraFacial and similar treatments cleanse, exfoliate and hydrate in a single session with no downtime — the kind of maintenance that keeps skin healthy rather than transforming it.

Our approach

Two principles run through everything we do here. First, assessment before treatment: a qualified practitioner examines your skin and discusses what is realistic before anything is recommended. Second, restraint over volume: the goal is a natural, refreshed result, which usually means doing less than the internet suggests.

Ask before you commit

Send a photo and tell us what you would like to change. Our medical team will tell you whether this treatment suits your skin, how many sessions it realistically takes, and when something else would serve you better.

Frequently asked questions

Are these treatments surgery?

No. Medical aesthetics covers non-surgical treatments, most with little or no downtime. They are still medical procedures and are delivered by qualified practitioners after assessment.

Are the results permanent?

Most are temporary and maintained over time — injectables last months, while some regenerative and resurfacing treatments give longer-lasting improvement. Your practitioner explains the expected duration for each.

Do I need a consultation first?

Yes. These are medical treatments, and some involve prescription medicines that require a face-to-face assessment before any treatment.

Will I look “done”?

Not if the plan is right. Our approach favours natural, understated results — softening, not changing, your appearance.

How do I know which treatment I need?

You do not have to — that is what the assessment is for. A qualified practitioner matches the treatment to your concern, or advises that none is needed.

Can treatments be combined?

Yes, often as a considered plan (for example injections plus a skin treatment), but only after an assessment — never sold as a package on the spot.

Are these treatments safe?

In qualified hands after assessment they are well-established; most risks are minor and temporary. The real risk is an unqualified provider.
